Meet Ben & Hannah
The couple behind Simple Sunday
our Mission
Simple Sunday was born from a shared calling to serve churches with our time and talents.
As seminary students, we have a deep love for Christ’s Church and a desire to see its many communities flourish. We started Simple Sunday to take action on that desire by relieving weekly pressures so leaders can focus on what matters most: people, presence, and pastoral ministry.

About Us
We’re Ben and Hannah Gill: a married couple in seminary and ministry, and building life and Simple Sunday together.
We are passionate about God’s work on Earth and joining His work to see His mission lived out on Earth as it is in Heaven.
We are also both passionate about the bride of Christ, His Church, and ensuring that we do what we can to best love and serve as our respective parts of that body.
About Ben
Ben Gill
(outside of “Benjamin”)
Ben is a seminary student pursuing a Master’s of Divinity with a concentration in church planting. Former youth co-pastor, financial advising intern, and business major undergrad.
Ben deeply loves Jesus, Hannah, people, and systems (especially simplifying them to better love the former).
Fun fact: Ben has been invited to the Chick-fil-A headquarters every year since 2017. He eats there a lot… maybe too much?
About Hannah
Hannah Gill
(not a fan of corn mazes)
Hannah is a seminary student pursuing a Master of Theological Studies with a concentration in spiritual formation. Former youth co-pastor with a heart for discipleship and beautiful graphics, and outreach.
Hannah also deeply loves Jesus, Ben, coffee, and developing people and systems into their fullest callings and living.
Fun fact: For Hannah’s 16th birthday, she received a gallon-sized tub of Nutella. (She really likes Nutella.)
Our approach and values
Faith First
We believe prayer is the most essential work of the Church. Apart from God, no amount of talent or time will lead to lasting fruit.
Every project, bulletin, spreadsheet, graphic, and meeting must be rooted in Christ and His love for us.
People Over Paperwork
We believe the Church exists to love God and love people. Paperwork can sometimes get in the way of that, even with the best of intentions.
We don’t just do admin. We see systems and structure as tools to free up leaders, helping them love, serve, and lead with more freedom and clarity.
Excellence matters
We believe “good enough” isn’t good enough for the work of God’s Church. Every task is part of His mission and deserves our best work.
True excellence also includes a grace for mistakes, a heart to improve, a desire to keep growing.
“As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
